IRENA estimates that by 2050, approximately $15 billion in reusable materials could be recovered through solar panel recycling; that’s an investment in a cleaner and more sustainable future. We partner with WeRecycle, the largest U.S. solar panel recycler to process our panels when they reach the end of their useful lifespan, though most of our systems in the last 27 years are still under warranty. When panels have minor cosmetic damage but remain functional, we minimize waste by offering them at a discount to our team.
