Positive Energy Solar was honored to receive the coveted City of Santa Fe Small Business of the Year award. "We're proud of our companies roots, our history, starting as the first successful graduates from the Santa Fe Business Incubator over 22 years ago, and continuing to serve the communities we love" said Christopher Fortson, Marketing Manager and employee owner of Positive Energy Solar. "Our relentless focus on a positive customer experience, quality craftsmanship, and being the trusted "go-to" source for solar, have remained the same since our companies inception and are engrained in Positive Energy Solar's values. [However], we couldn't do it without the love and support of the community."

The Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce believes that rewarding businesses for growth and outstanding business practices and leadership is important. This business serves as examples to the rest of the community and sets the bar for business excellence in Santa Fe. “We are very proud of the winners and indeed all the nominees” said Chamber President and CEO Simon Brackley. “The local business climate is not easy and we are excited that so many entrepreneurs are succeeding and doing so with excellent business practices.”

Judging was conducted by representatives from the chamber’s partner organizations and last year’s winners.
