Community Involvement

We’re in Your Community.

We enjoy getting our feet on the ground with community partners and local nonprofits. From providing power for community events to donating to local causes from our community fund, or teaching youth in schools about the value of clean energy in our communities along with career pathways in the industry, you'll find Positive Energy Solar playing an active role in our community. Through the years, we've had the opportunity to support local schools, sports teams, and get hands-on with numerous nonprofit partners. Community outreach is just one of several ways that we make it a point to generate positive energy near and far.

100 Meals With Every System

In 2023, we began donating up to 100 meals to Storehouse New Mexico with every system we installed. In 2024, we are also donating to Northern New Mexico’s Food Depot for every system we install in Santa Fe. This allows us to combat food insecurity all across New Mexico with every system we install in every city that we serve!

Generating Positive Energy throughout New Mexico through events and targeted outreach

Dedicated to New Mexico's Future.

We work with dozens of non-profit organizations that are driven toward creating a more equitable and sustainable future. Through community outreach, legislative action, and grassroots activation, we have helped to create an industry that boosts our local economy, protects our landscape, air, and water, and is part of social and environmental betterment for all New Mexicans. Together, we can foster social equity and environmental well-being.

Constructing a Healthier Future for All

We seek to identify ways to make solar more accessible to those who need it the most. Each year we find opportunities to donate to large-scale projects that provide solar energy to organizations and institutions that serve the greater needs of often marginalized community members. The solarization of Casa Milagro (our installers hard at work on this project pictured left) is an example of this. Casa Milagro is a Santa Fe homeless shelter serving community members who also suffer from mental illness. Our work on this installation came to fruition through community fundraising efforts led by Cornerstones Community Partnerships and New Energy Economy.

Such unifying of community partners demonstrates the community solidarity that we believe in at Positive Energy. We look forward to continuing to strengthen our community presence and bring the power of solar energy, and the power of collective action, together to make a positive impact in the lives of our friends and neighbors.

PES GIVES

PES GIVES is a program dedicated to collective action for the greater good. At Positive Energy, our team is committed to supporting local nonprofits and community organizations through direct giving. By partnering with local organizations and pooling resources—such as cash donations, clothing, non-perishable food, and volunteer time—we are connecting our company’s clean energy mission with the broader goal of doing our part to enhance community wellness and share resources.
