At Positive Energy Solar, we believe that clean energy is more than a technology; it’s a catalyst for empowerment, sustainability, and community resilience. That belief came to life in a powerful way through our recent partnership with Diné College and Yearout Energy on a transformative solar project.

Located in Tsaile, Arizona, Diné College holds a place of profound significance. As the first tribally controlled and accredited college in the United States, Diné College has long stood as a beacon of education and empowerment for the Navajo Nation. Its mission is deeply rooted in advancing the economic, political, environmental, and social development of the Navajo people. Central to that mission is a cultural understanding of sustainability, not just as a practice, but as a way of life handed down through generations.
That’s why it was such an honor for us to support the college’s commitment to environmental stewardship by helping bring a 1.002 MW Single Tracker Solar Energy System to life on campus.

This isn’t just a renewable energy project; it’s a bold step forward in the college’s leadership on climate action and clean energy transition. Over the next 25 years, this solar system will significantly reduce the institution’s carbon footprint and contribute to a healthier environment. The projected environmental impact includes:
🌲 The equivalent of planting 8,663 acres of trees
🚗 Removing 6,092 vehicles from the road
🏭 Preventing 29 million pounds of coal from being burned
📉 Avoiding nearly 70 million pounds of CO₂ emissions
These are more than statistics. They symbolize what’s possible when education, innovation, and sustainability come together.
For Positive Energy Solar, this project reflects the heart of our mission—empowering communities through clean energy from Santa Fe, NM, while working alongside leaders like Diné College who are shaping a just, sustainable future for all. We are incredibly proud to be part of this meaningful journey, one that uplifts people and preserves the planet for generations to come.
