LAS CRUCES – Positive Energy Solar, a New Mexico-based solar installer, has received the SunPower Commercial Regional Top Producer of the Year award for its outstanding commercial solar performance as a SunPower dealer in 2016. The company also received this award in 2014.

The award honors the SunPower dealer that installs the greatesgt number of SunPower solar panels on commercial projects in their region of the United States.
In 2016, Positive Energy Solar completed a number of notable projects featuring high-efficiency SunPower panels including over 600 kilowatts of solar carports for the City of Las Cruces, just under 23 kilowatts on the roof of Parnall Law office in Albuquerque, and almost 1 megawatt on Santa Fe High School. The company also constructed solar carports in Silver City for Western Bank and Rydeski & Company Insurance.
